Favorite Teacher Tote & Bag: Vera Bradley

I cannot even begin to tell you just how many teacher totes I have had over the years. Some have been super cute, but not super functional (the straps hurt or they're not heavy duty enough). Some have been heavy duty, but not very appealing to the eye (read: they're pretty ugly). Well, I think I finally found a happy medium - the teacher tote that is both darling and incredibly functional!

Enter the Vera Tote. With soft, cushiony, and comfortable straps, 8 different pockets (two on the outside - one with a zipper - and six on the inside), and a ton of space on the inside for my planner, computer, books, etc., it's the most practical tote I've ever owned! On top of that, the patterns on both the outside and the inside are super cute! After talking to a bunch of you on Instagram, I've come to find that I'm not alone in loving Vera Bradley totes for school bags - so many of you mentioned that you've had one for years and love it!

I love this bag so much, I'm even considering purchasing it in different patterns (but shhhh ... don't tell my husband!). This bag is making going back to school so much more appealing - even in the midst of summer!

I also did a quick video for you, so you can easily see all of the bells and whistles to this tote! :)

In addition to this darling Vera Tote, I also picked out the Canyon Tote that can be used not only as a teacher bag, but an every day bag as well. The leather is very soft and plush, but also has just enough shape to it to hold up really well. I also adore the button details on the straps! As expensive as this bag is, it is definitely one I'll be using all the time. The brown color makes it easily usable for all seasons! I've worn it every day this summer since it arrived, and I get compliments on it all the time. Vera Bradley has this bag in other leather colors (the sunset one is gorgeous, too), but this brown one was by far my favorite. (P.S. Don't mind the pregnant belly in the middle pic - I was 33 weeks pregnant when this picture was taken!)

  2. I enjoy the 31 totes. I replace mine every two years. It's fun to have a matching lunch bag! My school is on Main Street and lots of people drive by as I am walking from the parking lot to the main entrance. I think of myself as showing them one can be stylish and organized!
