Shopping for Earth Brands at Sole Desire

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Earth Brands and Sole Desire. All opinions are my own and completely honest. This post also contains affiliate links, which helps this teacher keep this blog of mine up and running :)

If you've been a reader of The Styled Teacher or an IG follower of mine, you know I absolutely love my Earth Brands shoes. I can't say enough good things about this company. I've been sharing their shoes for almost four years now ever since I first discovered them at a local Sole Desire in my town.

At the time, I wasn't even looking for new shoes, but rather, I was accompanying my mom to help her find some good walking shoes for her upcoming trip to Europe. I hadn't even been in a Sole Desire store prior to that. But since I'm a teacher and comfort is key in the classroom, I thought I'd give some of these comfy-looking shoes a chance (we were, after all, in a store that pretty much only sells shoes that are good for your feet). I immediately was drawn to the Earth Bellwether flats in Almond, and after two seconds of having these puppies on my feet, the deep love affair with Earth Brands began.

As an aside, if you didn't know, Earth Brands has two different footbeds that they sell. One of the footbeds can be found in all of the Earth shoes (my favorites with this footbed are the Daylily, Bellwether, and the Bay). The Earth footbed is incredibly cushioned with a really padded heel area that I swear to you has made the difference in my back problems. As in, my back doesn't kill me after a long day of teaching like it used to.

The second footbed is the Earthies footbed (my favorites are the Essen and the Manza - but you all know this). This footbed is a little bit different in that its a molded footbed with less padding than the Earth shoes. Still equally comfortable, but simply a different footbed. I, personally, don't have a preference of one over the other - both have majorly alleviated any back pain.

Anyhow, this past weekend I got to spend some time at a Sole Desire in my area. And let me tell you, trying on the shoes in store is a completely different experience than shopping for shoes online. Online, I hadn't even given the Daylily a second look. But in person ... well, it was love at first sight! Let's just say I've worn them every day since purchasing them :) Just goes to show how different seeing something in person can actually be.

If you've been sitting on the fence about purchasing a pair of Earth Brands, I highly suggest you visit a Sole Desire in your area - they have 20 locations throughout Northern California for my local friends! Once you try them on in person, you will immediately send me an email thanking me for changing your life ;) All kidding aside, they're some of the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear. Extra bonus? If you try on any pair of Earth or Earthies at a Sole Desire between April 20th and May 14th, they'll give you a free gift! Why not go? Shoot, I'm going to go back again!

On top of all of that, I want to toot Sole Desire's horn because they are a family-run company that treats its customers in the same way. When I arrived at their Santa Rosa location, I was welcomed with smiles from everyone who worked there, and they couldn't have been kinder about me wanting to try on every. pair. of. shoes. they. have.

I had a phenomenal experience, and after trying on multiple styles, I ended up walking away with the Earth Daylily and the Earth Libra - two shoes I wouldn't have purchased had I not seen and tried them on in person.
